About Elana

Elana Frank has 20+ years of experience working with non-profits (Jewish Community Relations Council of NY, Kfar Hassidim Youth Villiage in Israel, and most notably the Jewish Fertility Foundation) in fundraising, marketing, community outreach, volunteer recruitment, board development, and program development. After experiencing the pain and loneliness of infertility and realizing how lucky she was to have had her experience begin in Israel, where it’s free, she had a desire to help others.  With the realization that cost, education, and access were tremendous stumbling blocks for this “unspoken” issue in the Jewish community, she rallied people behind her and created the Jewish Fertility Foundation. She has received national attention through awards and public speaking engagements for the work that the Jewish Fertility Foundation has accomplished. Elana lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband, 3 boys, and their fish “America”.

Since 2015

  • We've brought 50 babies into the world with an additional 26 expected in 2021.

  • Allocated $650,000+ in grants, loans, and discounts.

  • Created the education and infrastructure required to dispel the stigma of infertility.

  • Trained 500+ community leaders and fertility clinic staff to support 200+ individuals and couples through monthly support groups and mentorship programs.

  • Raised over 1.5 million dollars since 2015.

  • JFF-Atlanta (opened 2015), JFF-CINCY (opened 2019), and expansion efforts are in place nationally.

About Foundation

MISSION: Jewish Fertility Foundation (JFF) provides financial assistance, educational awareness, and emotional support to Jewish people with medical fertility challenges. JFF aims to help any person experiencing infertility feel supported and less isolated throughout their fertility journey regardless of religious background.

JFF is the Jewish response to infertility. Just as Honeymoon-Israel brings young Jewish couples into the Jewish community and the JCC brings young Jewish families into the Jewish community, JFF provides another entry into the Jewish community at a critical inflection point. By supporting our clients emotionally and financially throughout their fertility journey, we continue the important work of (literally) building a vibrant, strong, and engaged Jewish community.
