Dr. Althea O’Shaughnessy 

Dr. Althea O’Shaughnessy is board certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. She obtained her B.S. degree from Trinity College, before achieving her M.D. from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. She completed her OBGYN residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, followed by a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Downstate Medical Center in New York. She has been practicing in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility since 1988 at impressive facilities such as Mount Sinai Hospital, Cooper Center for IVF in New Jersey, and Sher Institute for Reproductive Medicine in New York. She was also the Medical Director of the Princeton Center for Infertility & Reproductive Medicine for 20 years. 

Dr. O’Shaughnessy has been long-recognized by her peers and her patients for her outstanding dedication. She has been recognized for her work in reproductive endocrinology as “Best in Medicine” by the American Health Council in 2019. She received the Castle Connolly Top Doctor Award in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017. Dr. O’Shaughnessy began publishing and presenting her reproductive medicine findings in 1986, and has over 40 papers and presentations to her credit.

Dr. O’Shaughnessy is currently one of the partner physicians at Conceptions Reproductive Associates of Colorado, awarding her the opportunity to advocate for infertility patients here in Colorado. Dr. O’Shaughnessy specializes in IVF, endometriosis, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, hirsutism, and fertility preservation.
