About Claire
Claire Adamsick is a public policy professional based in Portland, Oregon. In her role as Senior Policy Director to City of Portland Commissioner Amanda Fritz, Claire served as the Commissioner’s lead staff on land use, planning and housing stability issues, and as liaison to the city’s Office of Equity and Human Rights. Building on family-friendly policies championed by Commissioner Fritz including paid sick leave and paid parental leave for city employees, Claire helped lead an effort to expand city employee benefits to assist intended parents, through fertility, surrogacy and adoption support services, which were adopted by City Council in January 2021. Claire currently works as a policy analyst with the Oregon Legislature.
